October Madness...

My goodness time flies!  It's October now, but I have to say that this summer was probably one of the best for me as far as music-making goes.  I'm so grateful to have spent so much time with my beautiful wife Johnelle, and my friends Rachel Sabonis and Bobby Colderchant, as we all rehearsed diligently for the performance at the Midwest Original Music Festival on Friday August 18th, 2017.  I happened to switch jobs right in the midst of all that, and as expected whenever you switch jobs, my primary focus shifted.  There was and still is a ton of work to be done at this new position I'm at, but my own personal music making is still one of my greatest passions, and I don't want to regret that I spent my entire life only focused on my employment.  Don't get me wrong, it's very important to me to do a good job in my ministry at the Church and teaching children music at the schools I'm blessed to be at, but God also gave me this wonderful gift of creativity, and I feel I need to use it.

I know it's long overdue, but I do want to thank everyone who was involved with the Midwest Original Music Festival back in August.  Damien Christ and the guys there did a fantastic job of creating a stellar event for original musicians.  I am also incredibly grateful to have had my family there to both support us and work our merchandise table, as well as my friends who came to cheer us on.  I'm looking forward to many more shows like this, and am hopeful that my backing band will be up for staying on board. ;)

Peace and Love Always, Rock On...
